About the Position
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time Hours: 37 hours per week Salary: £25,878 per annum
Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday, working a mix of 8:00am–4:00pm and 1:00pm–9:00pm shifts, with an occasional requirement to stay until 10:00pm dependent on business needs
Weekend working on a rotated basis
Occasional bank holiday working required
Participation in a 24-hour on-call rota on a rotated basis
The Day to Day:
Process samples in line with our Quality Management System
Achieve sample completion targets and meet deadlines
Work closely with team members to ensure efficient sample processing
Understand and respond to customer requirements
Follow COSHH Risk Assessments to handle chemicals safely
The Essentials:
Minimum of an A Level in Science or an equivalent qualification
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records
Ability to follow instructions and procedures meticulously
Good communication skills and basic IT proficiency
A collaborative team player who can also organise and manage their workload independently
A customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing excellent service
