Oracle Fusion Technical Support Analyst
Location: Hybrid working, starting with 2 days per week in the Sheffield Office for the first month
Salary: £57,569.74 to £65,965.33 per annum doe
GFSL is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Technical Support Analyst to support and develop our Oracle Fusion HCM and Procurement platforms.
This is a specialist role for someone with hands-on experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, developing OTBI reporting solutions, working with Oracle role-based access control, and using SQL to troubleshoot, analyse and/or validate data.
You will join the IT Systems & Digitalisation team and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security and continuous improvement of systems that support critical operational services across the business. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, delivery partners, and technical teams to maintain high service standards and deliver effective system enhancements.
We're looking for someone who takes ownership of issues and sees them through to resolution, with the confidence to engage and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You'll have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy, data integrity, and service quality. Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, you'll thrive when working collaboratively across both technical and business teams to deliver practical solutions and positive outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing second-line support for Oracle Fusion HCM and Procurement applications
- Investigating and resolving incidents, service requests, and system issues
- Supporting Oracle quarterly release cycles, including test planning, execution, and validation
- Developing and maintaining OTBI reports, dashboards, and analytics
- Supporting Oracle Fusion Security administration, including roles, permissions, and user access governance
- Maintaining data integrity and supporting audit and compliance activities
- Working with stakeholders to translate business requirements into Oracle solutions and system improvements
Contributing to Oracle change, enhancement, and optimisation initiatives throughout the application lifecycle

Essential experience
We welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate experience in most of the following areas:
- Oracle Fusion Cloud application support (HCM and/or Procurement)
- OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) report and dashboard development
- Oracle Fusion Security Console administration
- User provisioning, role management, and access governance
- Oracle Fusion data structures and security concepts
- Incident, problem and change management within an enterprise application environment
- Oracle quarterly release testing and deployment activities
Working directly with business stakeholders to gather and deliver requirements

Desirable experience
Candidates who also have the following experience will be considered particularly strong:
- BI Publisher
- SQL experience for reporting, troubleshooting, reconciliation, and data analysis
- HCM Extracts
Experience within HR, Finance or Procurement systems

Future Plans.
GFSL has been notified by its shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM Services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSL's services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027. As the programme unfolds, we will learn more.
