Collingwood Health is recruiting an experienced Audio Typist to join our Referrals team in Rotherham. The role is part-time, working a minimum of 13 hours and maximum of 19.5 hours a week between Monday - Thursday. This is a 6 month contract with scope to increase if required.
Training in regards to our in house system will be given and there can be some flexibility around the working hours.
Role
- Ensuring the typing of medical reports (from audio tapes, dictation and copy typing) are produced in a timely, proficient and professional manner. Turning around report’s within KPI guidelines to meet customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring formatting, grammar and spellings are accurate.
- Cross checking information on the report against the referral.
- Updating patient management systems where applicable.
- Treating sensitive/confidential information with appropriate discretion.
- Working from the office independently.
Requirements
- Medical/Occupational Health background desirable but not essential
- Audio transcription level 1/level 2
- Good Standard of Written & Spoken English
- Touch typing
- High level of accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail and quality
- Able to work independently
- Able to meet deadlines
- RSA Typing II/ECDL not essential
- Ability to work under pressure
