Job Summary
About the Role:
As Weekend Bar & Duty Manager, you’ll take charge of the club on Saturdays and Sundays, ensuring smooth operations across the bar, café, and customer experience. You’ll be responsible for leading the team on shift, serving food & drinks, and maintaining a safe, welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee weekend venue operations and act as the main point of contact on shift
- Serve artisan coffee, smoothies, snacks, pizzas, and drinks from the bar
- Manage junior/part-time staff and maintain high customer service standards
- Open/close the venue and handle basic till procedures
- Ensure health & safety and cleanliness standards are met at all times
- Support with event delivery, socials, or matches when scheduled
- Communicate with the full-time team to report issues or hand over shifts
Who We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in hospitality, bar, café, or duty management roles
- A confident, hands-on leader who’s great with people
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Barista and/or food prep experience is a bonus
- 18+ due to bar responsibilities
- Available on weekends (especially afternoons/evenings); extra shifts may be available during the week
Shift Pattern:
- Weekend shifts and possible availability in the week
- 7:00-16:00 shift, or 15:00-23:59 shift
