The Role
As a Teacher of Geography, you will:

Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Inspire students through the study of physical, human, and environmental geography.
- Plan and deliver lessons that challenge, engage, and support learners of all abilities.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure strong outcomes.
- Develop students’ enquiry, research, and critical thinking skills.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can succeed.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
- Support enrichment opportunities, including fieldwork and extracurricular activities.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4.
- Excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Geography.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- High expectations of student achievement and progress.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- The ability to contribute positively to a successful Humanities department.
