£31.00 per hour | Part-time | In-person

Join an award-winning tuition centre

Kip McGrath Romford is looking for an enthusiastic, professional and PGCE qualified

Science teacher who can teach biology, chemistry and physics.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys helping students achieve their potential without the workload associated with mainstream classroom teaching.

You'll teach Key Stage 3 and GCSE Science using structured learning programmes and

high-quality teaching resources.

Essential Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
Recent experience teaching GCSE Science.
Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and GCSE specifications.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
Experience supporting students with SEND is advantageous.

The Role

Deliver engaging KS3 and GCSE Science tuition.
Adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs.
Monitor progress and maintain lesson records.
Work collaboratively with Centre Directors and colleagues.
Build students' confidence alongside measurable academic progress.
