As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Financial Controller to become our trusted financial partner.
This is a part-time role, initially one day per week, working closely with the Managing Director and our Accounts Assistant. The day-to-day bookkeeping and finance administration are already managed internally, allowing you to focus on what really matters—providing financial clarity, commercial insight and helping drive better business decisions.
This role has the potential to grow alongside the business.
Note: Salary shown is pro rata, also open to sub contractor/Fractional based on day rate.
Hours: Approximately one day per week initially, with flexibility around how those hours are worked. As Siemlus continues to grow, there is the opportunity for this role to expand.

You'll work directly with the Managing Director to understand not only where the business has been, but where it's heading, helping turn financial data into clear commercial decisions.
You'll also support the Senior Leadership Team by presenting financial reports, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring finance plays an active role in business planning.

- Review debtors, creditors and cash collection performance.
- Identify commercial risks, trends and opportunities.
- Support pricing decisions and business planning with financial insight.
- Present monthly financial reporting and recommendations to the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team when required.
- Work closely with our Accounts Assistant, providing guidance and oversight of the day-to-day finance function.
- Liaise with our external accountants regarding year-end accounts, VAT, payroll and statutory compliance.
- Continuously improve financial reporting, processes and controls.
