WHAT YOU WILL DO

The key responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:

Creating an exceptional dining experience for members and their guests.
Presenting menu and provide detailed information when asked including allergens information.
Making sure all service mise en place is ready in advance; including table set-up, cutlery, napkins, salt and pepper filled, etc.
Meeting with restaurant colleagues to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations.
Supporting, training, and developing any new members of the team and making them feel welcome.
Up-selling additional products as and when appropriate in a subtle and conversational manner.
Taking accurate food and drinks orders, using our till system, ordering slips or by memorisation as appropriate.
Checking dishes and dining utensils for cleanliness and presentation and reporting any problems to the culinary and management teams.
Presenting the bill and processing payments in line with our standards and SOP’s.
Arranging table settings and maintaining a tidy dining area.
Removing dirty items from tables to avoid clutter in a timely manner.
Feeling empowered making a decision that will enhance the member experience or defuse any complaints which may arise.
Adhering to all Health and Safety procedures particularly relating to food and beverage items.

PERSONAL PROFILE

Proven experience in a luxury / lifestyle multi-outlet food and beverage operation.
Stays up to date with current hospitality food trends and best practices.
Must be able to work flexibly including evenings and weekends due to the operational hours of the club.
Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management and being front of house building relationships with our members.
A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.
