If so, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Business Insights Analyst to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to be at the forefront of modern data and AI platforms. You'll help drive the adoption of Databricks Lakehouse capabilities, ensuring data is secure, discoverable and governed through Unity Catalog. Your expertise will be critical in building a scalable analytics foundation that empowers self-service reporting, advanced analytics and future AI initiatives.
In this highly visible role, you'll work closely with business leaders, data engineers and stakeholders across the organisation to design, build and optimise data products that drive smarter decisions, improve performance and create measurable business value.

You'll play a key role in developing our modern data ecosystem, helping shape the future of analytics through:
Building trusted, analytics-ready data products using Databricks Lakehouse
Designing and managing Gold-layer datasets within a Medallion Architecture
Establishing robust data governance through Unity Catalog
Creating scalable semantic models and enterprise reporting solutions
Delivering impactful insights through Power BI and advanced analytics
Acting as a technical leader and mentor across the analytics community
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and maintain curated data assets that provide a single source of truth across the business.
Partner with stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into actionable analytics solutions.
Design and optimise complex data models, dashboards and reporting frameworks.
Leverage Databricks, Delta Lake and Unity Catalog to create governed, secure and scalable analytics solutions.
Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to enhance pipelines and data quality.
Deliver compelling data storytelling through Power BI and visual analytics.
Apply statistical analysis techniques to identify trends, opportunities and business improvements.
Champion best practices in analytics engineering, governance and data modelling.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
Strong hands-on expertise with Databricks Lakehouse Platform
Proven experience implementing and managing Unity Catalog for data governance, security, lineage and access control
Deep understanding of Delta Lake, Medallion Architecture and analytics engineering principles
Advanced SQL skills, including query optimisation, CTEs and complex transformations
Strong Power BI experience with a focus on data visualisation and storytelling
Experience building semantic models, curated data products and enterprise reporting solutions
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong analytical and statistical capability
Highly Desirable
Databricks certifications or accreditations
Azure Synapse experience
Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical or highly regulated environments
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and KPI design
Microsoft certifications including PL-300 and DP-500
