Full job description

AMS Nationwide Services specialise in the delivery and installation of commercial furniture and video conferencing projects. We are a dedicated and professional team fully experienced with installing all the major commercial manufacturers products. We pride ourselves for providing quality staff and workmanship to the industry, investing in training and embracing technology in order to maintain our extremely high standards.

Many of our projects are located in the South East & London areas. However, we are often onsite across England, Wales, Scotland & Europe.

We are seeking to expand our team of commercial furniture installers, to meet new client requirements and contracts. As a furniture installer, you would be responsible for the assembly, installation and maintenance of commercial furniture for various client sites. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic and commitment will be essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

Assemble and install commercial furniture according to client specifications and design plans.
Safely transport furniture to client sites using company vehicles.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of installations, while maintaining high standards of quality.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries and concerns in a professional manner.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Requirements:

Valid CSCS (construction skills certification scheme) card.
Valid driving licence.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
Able to work evenings, weekends, and at times go away for work.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
