Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic
Location: RAF Marham – Onsite

Salary: £36,443+ depending on skills and experience

Job Description:
This role is to work effectively within a team of 12 Maintainers, in a diverse and dynamic operational environment. This will involve construction of the approved Technical Information set and competence to work to maintenance instructions with support and in accordance with the organisation’s MOE.
Core duties:
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with the Approved Technical Information and relevant risk assessments and that all airworthiness records are maintained
- Make sure all activities are appropriately documented and identify and report any issues and escalate as appropriate
- Procedure/Standards – Complying with the Organisations MOE, its associated procedures and standards, and any other company procedures and standards
- Safety Management System – You will understand and apply human factors, error management, within maintenance
- Continuing Airworthiness Assurance (Quality) – Ensuring maintenance activities are compliant with the Continuing Airworthiness Assurance Management system
- You will be undertaking a range of maintenance on an aircraft which may include, as appropriate, aircraft role changes, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements and/or functional/system test
Essential Skills:
- Experience of working within and the practical application of EASA/MRP Part 145 or military equivalent
- Experience of working on military aircraft programmes
- Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent military qualifications
- Academic qualification for this role is a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent
The F-35 Maintenance team
As a member of the F-35 Aircraft Maintenance Team you will be working collaboratively as part of a joint enterprise of Royal Navy, RAF and BAE Systems maintainers, undertaking a wide range of complex maintenance activities on F35 aircraft, and it’s associated components
