About the Role:
We’re looking for a confident, organised and friendly Optical Receptionist/Administrator to join our front-of-house team. In this varied role, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients – whether greeting them in person, booking appointments, or assisting with queries by phone and email. You’ll also play a key part in keeping the practice running smoothly through a range of administrative tasks, including managing invoices, payments, and our contact lens direct debit schemes.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a customer-facing role, enjoys working as part of a close-knit team, and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service.
Skills and experience:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A friendly and approachable manner
- A professional demeanour and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software systems.
