To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Goods in and Despatch Coordinator to come and join our team at our Dewsbury factory.
The successful applicant will be a member of a multi-functional production/TPM team aiming to achieve key targets within the departmental environment, thereby helping to deliver Cost, Quality and Efficiency benefits to the Factory. Hours of work will Based on 5 on 5 off, 4 on 4 off, 5 on 5 off shift system.
The main requirements and responsibilities of the role include:

Loading brick packs on to lorries using a 4,6 & 8 pronged counterbalanced forklift truck
-
Liaising with sales and customers.
-
Making up brick samples
-
Working with Production to manage the blending and re packing of products.
-
Working to SSOP’s with safe and precise working practices at all times
-
General maintenance and Housekeeping.
-
Lead a small team of loaders and manage contract labour.
-
High degree of Health and Safety and environmental awareness
-
Help with month end stock taking
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
-
Valid Counterbalanced forklift licence
-
Reading, writing ability and basic numeric skills.

Basic Computing skills
-
Flexible and self motivated working attitude
-
Good vision
-
Ability to work as part of a team or on your own.

Good timekeeping and attendance records.
-
Team Working attitude and good communication skills
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
-
Experience of a modern manufacturing environment in particular the loading of brick delivery lorries.

Knowledge of the Leicester brick range
-
Understanding of the brick manufacturing processes
-
Knowledge of the principles of TPM and Continuous Improvement

Basic mechanical skills
