Responsibilities:
- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
- Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
- Taking and developing dental x-rays
- Providing patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Ordering and maintaining dental supplies and inventor
- Ensuring compliance with infection control protocol
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
- Schedule appointments efficiently
- Manage patient records
- Complete general admin tasks
- Process payments
- Answer multi-line phone systems, addressing patient inquiries and directing calls appropriately
- Maintain organized filing systems for medical records and documentation review
- Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate care plans and enhance patient service
- Make daily Instagram/TikTok content for the practice (you will be required to appear in videos published online)
- Any other ad hoc responsibilities as reasonably requested
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using dental software and technology (inc MS Office)
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent customer service skills

Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable
