Full job description

We are looking for a creative, commercially minded Retail Sales Assistant to join our experienced successful menswear team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 2–3 years’ experience working in a retail clothing environment, ideally within menswear, who has a strong eye for presentation, styling and detail.

You will play an important role in creating an inspiring and commercially effective store environment, ensuring our collections are presented to the highest standard and reflect the brand's identity.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain high-quality visual merchandising and product presentations throughout the store.
Style menswear collections, mannequins, outfits and key product displays.
Support the planning and implementation of seasonal launches, campaigns and promotional displays.
Ensure product presentation is consistently aligned with the brand's identity and customer expectations.
Provide personal guidance to customers on outfits and collections, with an ability to create and bespoke.
Regularly refresh displays to keep the store looking current, engaging and commercially strong.
Work closely with the retail and sales teams to understand product priorities and maximise sales opportunities.
Assist with window displays and in-store creative projects.
Monitor competitor and retail trends and bring fresh ideas and inspiration to the store.
Maintain high standards of organisation, cleanliness and visual presentation.
Support general shop-floor activity when required, particularly during busy trading periods.

About You

You will ideally have:

Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a retail clothing environment.
Previous experience in menswear is highly desirable.
A genuine passion for fashion, menswear and retail.
A strong eye for style, colour, proportion and detail.
An understanding of how visual merchandising can influence customer experience and sales.
A creative and proactive approach, with the confidence to contribute ideas.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
A hands-on attitude and willingness to get involved.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a small team.
The flexibility to work part time but would include variable Saturdays.

The Ideal Candidate

You don't need to be purely a visual merchandiser — we're particularly interested in someone who combines creative flair with practical retail experience and understands what makes a menswear store look great while also helping it sell.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
