You would be required to travel to Northernshire Head Office in Preston, North West and complete 1 week induction and initial training , then at the location with support. Accommodation , subsistence and travel fully reimbursed.
- The role requires individuals who are capable of working in a team to undertake industrial cleaning using chemicals safely and some servicing of a range of ventilation and kitchen extraction systems. Training will be given.
- Due to the nature of the work and kitchen’s needing to be closed, this will mean that the start and finish times vary, so persons need to be flexible with their working hours.
- Some working away may be required.
- Starting salary is £32,900 per annum paid monthly. We offer an attendance bonus of £1500 per year on top. Attendance / Compliance related.
- Normal working hours is 40 hours per week, working 5 nights per week.
- Night working shifts are Sunday through to Thursday nights inclusive.
- The position is predominately nights, however occasional day work is required.
- Due to Extraction systems being located outside and on roof’s, working outside is required, in all weathers and all year. Waterproofs will be issued.
- Some working away is required.
- Working at heights is essential, access to Extraction Systems means you will be required to work off hop up steps and fold out ladders as well as climbing vertical ladders to access the roof on some sites.
- Take responsibility for keeping company vehicles clean, fully stocked and ready for use.
- Maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- The work we carry out is dirty. You will be expected to access the ducting from steps, scrape out the grease, using scrapers and scoops; the grease can be as thick and sticky like tar. Bucket(s) of grease removed from ducting systems.
- It is very physical work.
- PPE for working on site will be issued at the Induction.
- A full U.K. Driving Licence is required.
- Applicants are require to be over 21 years for insurance purposes.
- Please be aware that the Induction and Training will take place in the North West-expenses will be paid.
