The Church Stretton Chemistries Centre of Excellence specializes in the design and manufacture of silica and polymeric particles for diagnostics, solid-phase synthesis, and chromatographic applications. Our products support a wide range of industries including biopharmaceuticals, diagnostics, food safety, environmental testing, academia, chemicals, and advanced materials.

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Chemistry Manufacturing Technician to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work with large-scale chemical manufacturing processes, producing specialist materials used in life science and analytical applications worldwide.
What You'll Do:
Following comprehensive training, your key responsibilities will include:

Working in accordance with Health & Safety and Quality Management System requirements (ISO 9001:2015)
-
Preparing, calibrating, and setting up equipment and raw materials for production activities
-
Operating and monitoring large-scale chemical manufacturing processes
-
Manufacturing and processing products in accordance with documented procedures
-
Accurately recording production activities, material movements, and process deviations
-
Maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping, and safety within the production environment
-
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and has an interest in chemical manufacturing.
You will ideally have:

A degree in Chemistry or relevant experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment

Strong practical skills and attention to detail

The ability to follow procedures accurately and maintain high quality standards

A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous experience with large-scale chemical processes in a manufacturing or laboratory setting is advantageous but not essential. With the right attitude, practical skills, and attention to detail, our comprehensive training programme will ensure your success.
