Are you a Dental Technician looking for your next opportunity?
We are a small, friendly, busy & growing dental laboratory looking for a Multi-Skilled Dental Technician to join our team. At Dental Excellence we are a digitally focused lab specialising in Crown & Bridge and Implant restorations.
We are looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and wants the opportunity to develop their skills across different areas of dental technology.
We're particularly interested in someone who is already multi-skilled, but equally, if you are strong in one or two areas and have the right attitude, passion, enthusiasm and willingness to learn, we'd love to hear from you!
The role could involve a variety of areas within the laboratory, including:
- CAD design and digital workflows
- Ceramic work
- 3D printing & Millin in our digital print suite
- Mouthguard manufacture
- Quality control and checking work (GDC Registration Required)
- Problem solving and supporting the wider team
- Developing your skills across different areas of the laboratory
We are particularly keen to find someone who is interested in developing their skills in both CAD and ceramics, but we are also happy to support the right person in learning these areas.
We are a relatively small laboratory, and whilst we aren't technically a family, we genuinely feel like one.
We're looking for someone who wants to be part of the team, get involved, help others and contribute to the laboratory as a whole.
Because we are a smaller team, you'll have the opportunity to work across different areas of the laboratory rather than being restricted to one particular department.
Development & Training:
We are part of the ALS group, meaning you will have access to the ALS Academy and the training and development opportunities available through the group.
We actively encourage our team to continue developing their skills and knowledge.
GDC Registration
GDC registration is desirable but not essential however it may be required depending on the duties of the role.
If you are already GDC registered, we will pay your GDC registration fees as part of your employment.
Who are we looking for?
You'll be someone who:
- Has experience working within a dental laboratory
- Is proficient in Tooth Bourne and Implant Restorations (Including Full Arch Work)
- Is GDC registered, or is working towards registration
- Has experience in CAD, ceramics or digital manufacturing
- Is interested in becoming more multi-skilled
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work & and has a passion for the role
- Is very organised and able to manage their own workload
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is willing to learn and develop
- Can work independently but also enjoys being part of a small team
- Has a positive attitude
