Chassis Cab is a family run business that holds the award winning DAF Truck franchise for East Anglia.

Chassis Cab aims to provide our customers with a first class, reliable service, which reflects our standing as market leader as a main dealer for the supply of DAF Truck and in the provision of a second to none after sales.

We are currently looking to recruit a Service Administrator to join our team at our Bury St Edmunds depot. This is a fixed-term maternity cover contract for a minimum of 12 months, with the potential for a permanent position at the end of the contract, subject to business needs.

Summary

We are seeking a Service Administrator to join our team at our Bury St Edmunds depot. This role is vital in ensuring smooth administrative operations within our service department, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional customer service and support.

Responsibilities

Manage daily administrative operations to ensure smooth functioning of the service department.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service requests and customer interactions.
Provide customers with timely updates on service job progress and resolutions.
Assist in scheduling appointments and coordinating service activities efficiently.
Support the team with accurate data entry and general clerical duties to ensure operational efficiency.

Hours of work:

This role offers flexibility of 30 to 40 hours per week, depending on the successful candidate's needs.

The working pattern is Monday to Friday and while we can offer flexibility with the start time, the successful candidate must be available to work until 6pm each day.

Qualifications

Proven office experience in an administrative role.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Effective phone etiquette and communication abilities.
Experience with data entry and clerical tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From £12.90 per hour
