Job Title

Maintenance & Gardening Assistant

Hours

1 day per week – Fridays
8 hours per day

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and practical Maintenance & Gardening Assistant to help maintain our property and outdoor areas. The role involves general maintenance duties, basic repairs, and regular gardening work to ensure the premises remain safe, tidy, and well-presented.

This is a part-time position ideally suited to someone hands-on, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks
Basic DIY work including painting, fixing fixtures, and minor repairs
Gardening duties including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, weeding, planting, and general upkeep
Keep outdoor areas clean and tidy
Report any larger maintenance issues requiring specialist attention
Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and stored properly

Requirements

Previous maintenance, handyman, or gardening experience preferred
Practical DIY skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Reliable and punctual
Physically fit and capable of outdoor work in varying weather conditions
