To strengthen our team in Puratos Fourayes, near Sittingbourne, Kent, we are looking for a:

Production Supervisor

Your Mission

Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will work in our factory supervising four production lines within our Pie Filling department, ensuring that their team collaborates efficiently, achieving challenging production targets whilst meeting our meticulous food quality, food safety and health and safety standards.

What you will do

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Pie Filling lines.
Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Monitor and optimise production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Train, mentor, support and motivate production staff to achieve their best performance.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Implement and enforce health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate production records and reports.

The ideal candidate will have

Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a food processing environment.
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and health and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership and team supervision skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal communication and numeracy skills.

What you can expect from Puratos

Rate of pay: £16.59 per hour.
Working pattern: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, with the potential for overtime during peak production periods. Shifts will alternate on a weekly basis between 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00.
25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
