Overview
We are seeking an additional sales team member for our expanding team in Skegness. Due to company relocation this is a new team being put together to push a 40+ year business into the next chapter. The job role will involve training on hotel bookings for an established company providing holidays for guests with disabilities, however this particular role will be focussing on the marketing side of the company.
As a start the wages will be set until full company training has been provided with bonuses put in place after a trial period.
Hours will be 9am-5pm Monday to Friday - including the odd Saturday dependant on holiday cover.
The Role
This is a varied role that combines customer service, reservations administration, and digital marketing. You will be responsible for managing guest bookings while also helping to develop and implement marketing initiatives that attract new customers and increase hotel visibility. Working alongside the company directors and existing reservations team.
Key Responsibilities
Reservations & Guest Services
- Manage incoming telephone, email, and online booking enquiries.
- Process reservations accurately using hotel booking systems.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries.
- Assist with guest communications before, during, and after their stay.
- Maintain accurate booking records and reporting.
Marketing & Content Creation
- Create engaging graphics, promotional materials, and digital content using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).
- Have the ability to work independantly to come up with new ideas and liase with an existing team to create unique content.
- The ability to use Mailchimp to its full potential.
- Produce short-form video content for social media, website, and promotional campaigns.
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.
- Manage and update social media channels and website content.
- Monitor marketing performance and suggest improvements.
Business Development
- Research and identify new opportunities to market the hotel.
- Develop relationships with local businesses, tourism organisations and corporate clients.
- Generate ideas for partnerships, promotions, and new revenue streams.
- Help increase the flow of direct bookings and build on a strong platform already in place.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in reservations, hospitality, customer service, or hotel administration.
- Confident using Adobe Creative Suite to create professional graphics and video content.
- Knowledgeable in social media marketing and digital marketing strategies.
- Creative, organised, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable communicating with guests and business partners.
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to finding new marketing opportunities.
- Experienced with Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Business Profile, and website content management systems (desirable).
