Experienced Carpet & Flooring Fitter
Squire Furnishings – Skegness, Hogsthorpe, & Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire
Part-time – Initially 2 days per week, with additional work available
Squire Furnishings is an established, family-run furniture and flooring retailer serving the Lincolnshire coast. We are looking for an experienced Carpet & Flooring Fitter to work with us on a regular basis.
Initially, we are looking for someone who can commit to approximately two days per week, with the potential for additional days during busy periods as our flooring business continues to grow.
The Role
You will be carrying out flooring installations for our customers, predominantly in and around:
- Mablethorpe
- Sutton on Sea
- Chapel St Leonards
- Ingoldmells
- Skegness and the surrounding Lincolnshire coast
Our flooring operation is based from our warehouse at Squires Outlet, South End, Hogsthorpe, PE24 5NE.
The majority of the work will involve fitting carpet and vinyl flooring, so applicants must be experienced and confident working with both.
Experience fitting LVT and laminate flooring would be a definite advantage and may lead to a wider range of work.

We're looking for an experienced fitter who:
- Is highly competent fitting carpet and vinyl
- Produces consistently high-quality work
- Has good attention to detail and takes pride in the finished job
- Is reliable, punctual and honours agreed commitments
- Is friendly, polite and comfortable dealing directly with customers
- Treats customers' homes and property with care and respect
- Can work independently and solve the occasional challenges that inevitably arise when fitting flooring
- Ideally has experience with LVT and laminate flooring
Reliability is particularly important to us. Our customers arrange their day around their fitting appointment, so if you agree to undertake a job, we need to know you'll be there.
