Following a recent acquisition, our Glasgow-based lettings company is under new ownership with fresh investment, fresh ambition, and a mandate to grow fast. We're looking for a CEO to take the reins and build something exceptional.

The foundations are already built: an established managed portfolio, a loyal landlord base, and a team that knows the Glasgow market inside out.

What's new is the backing and the appetite, the business now sits within the Let Property Group, the UK's largest tenanted property investment brokerage.

That means something few lettings businesses can offer: an organic pipeline of new managed units flowing in from the Group's investor transactions, month after month. You won't just be fighting for growth in the open market as a share of it arrives built in.

The Role

As CEO, you'll have full P&L ownership and the autonomy to run the business day to day, reporting directly to the new ownership board. You will:

Set the strategy — define the growth plan, from portfolio expansion to new revenue streams, and own its delivery
Lead the team — inspire, develop, and where needed restructure the existing team to match the company's new ambitions
Retain and grow the managed portfolio — protect the existing landlord base through the transition, keep retention rates high, and then build on it: win new instructions, deepen relationships with existing clients, and pursue portfolio acquisitions
Modernise operations — champion systems, processes, and technology that let the business scale without losing its personal service
Represent the business — be the face of the company with landlords, tenants, suppliers, and the wider Glasgow property community
Deliver the numbers — drive revenue, protect margins, and report performance clearly to ownership

Who We're Looking For

A proven leader in lettings, property management, or estate agency — ideally at Director, Head of, or senior branch leadership level
Deep knowledge of the Scottish private rented sector, including landlord registration, tenancy law (PRT), and compliance
A track record of both retaining and growing a managed portfolio — you know that keeping landlords is as valuable as winning them, and you can point to numbers on both
Commercially sharp: comfortable with P&L, forecasting, and making decisions that balance growth with profitability
A people-first manager who can steady a team through change and get them excited about what comes next
Hungry. This role rewards someone who wants to build, not maintain

Pay: £85,000.00-£120,000.00 per year
