Full job description

Please only apply for this job if you can work at our Slaithwaite or Honley office. This is not a remote position.

As a Legal Assistant Apprentice, you will either undertake training under the Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship. This is a 2 year apprenticeship.

You will:

support our legal team with administrative tasks.
conduct legal research and gather relevant information to progress a client matter.
ensure records are meticulously maintained and up to date.
interact with clients and other parties to facilitate communication and to support case management.
assist Open Law in maintaining compliance with Anti- Money Laundering Regulations by providing through support in compliance checks, documentation, and reporting, ensuring adherence to all legal standards.
demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
follow all relevant Open Law policies and procedures.

Eligibility Criteria

This apprenticeship is intended for individuals who do not already hold a law degree or a qualification at Level 4 or above. Candidates who already possess a law degree, or any qualification above Level 3, may not normally be eligible for this apprenticeship programme.
