Full job description

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Manager to join our M&S site in Bradford. You will lead a large operational team to deliver outstanding performance across safety, quality, service, people and cost. You'll play a pivotal role in developing colleagues, enhancing operational efficiencies and ensuring we consistently exceed customer expectations.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £34,000.00 per annum and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

Lead and develop Team Leaders, support functions and warehouse colleagues, creating a positive and high-performing culture
Drive operational performance by managing productivity, KPIs, service levels and resource planning.
Champion health and safety, ensuring compliance with company policies, legislation and best practice standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce costs and add value for both XPO and M&S
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while supporting the delivery of the site's operational strategy

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Proven operational leadership experience within FMCG, logistics, warehousing or a fast-paced customer-focused environment
Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop teams
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal
Experience managing productivity, KPIs and operational performance metrics
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, customer-focused approach and a drive for continuous improvement
