Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. The position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic environment dedicated to hospitality excellence.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service.
Take orders accurately using POS systems and handle cash or card payments efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices.
Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless service experience during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
Cocktail training is desirable but not essential
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour to engage effectively with guests.
A responsible attitude towards alcohol service and guest safety.
Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or peak hours as required.
