We put people at the heart of everything we do and are looking to recruit a dynamic, confident, and ambitious new Food & Beverage Team leader for our fabulous Moxy and Residence Inn Slough!
We are the first dual branded property in Slough; 2 hotels operating in 1 building! Residence Inn by Marriott is an extended stay brand whereby our guests stay for longer periods of time. It is up to us to make them feel at home with our family of associates! All rooms are suites with more living and working space, than you would find in any other hotel room, including a fully equipped kitchen in every suite! Our guests (the Maximisers) want to Maximize their stay and we are here to help them do that, by offering grocery services, complimentary daily breakfast and of course all the places to be in Slough, London, Windsor and surroundings!

YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE:
Deliver F&B service of a high standard and in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.
Develop departmental standards and procedures to promote sales and beverage creativity and profit.
Delivers daily briefings and attends other food and beverage meetings as scheduled.
Prepares for service by ensuring the departments equipment are clean, outlet is ready for service and guest comfort.
Carries out effective service by ensuring all staffs are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints and concerns.
Train food and beverage assistant in basic beverage knowledge and beverage service.
Complete spillage report and submit to line manager at the conclusion of each shift.
Assist F&B manager to source and review entertainment as appropriate.
Design promotional material which is aimed at increasing revenue, covers and profit for bar with the approval of line manager.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
Previous experience within a similar role within a hotel environment
Strong background in food and beverage outlets, restaurants.
Strong communicator and team management skills
Organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast moving, and demanding environment
IT Literate
Fluency in English
