Full job description

Warehouse Operative (Nights)

40 hours per week 6pm to 3am

5 days over 7 shift pattern (including weekends)

About the Role

At Woods Foodservice, we know that our night warehouse team is the backbone of our operation. Working behind the scenes, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the right products, on time and in perfect condition.

We're looking for reliable, hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our Night Shift team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in doing a great job, and want to be part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Accurately picking customer orders using handheld technology and preparing them for dispatch.
Handling chilled, frozen, and ambient food products, including items weighing up to 25kg (full training provided).
Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet our high standards and reporting any damaged or missing stock.
Building pallets safely and securely to prevent damage during transport.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse, following all Health & Safety procedures.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure all orders are completed accurately and on schedule.

What We're Looking For

Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
The ability to work efficiently in a busy, physically demanding environment.
A reliable and flexible approach to work.
Previous warehouse or food distribution experience is essential
Training will be provided.
