We are looking for an Pre-Op Nurse to join our team on a part time basis for 30 hours per week.

Our newest Hospital is a clean, modern and comfortable unit in Edgbaston, Birmingham. Specialising in planned surgery for NHS, private and insured patients. Our services cover a wide range of specialties and deliver excellent clinical care.

What you'll be doing

You will be a valued member of our multi-disciplinary team led by our Outpatients Manager. You will organise and undertake the pre-operative assessment of patients, ensuring that they are fit and suitable for surgery as well as assisting in the efficient running of the outpatient and pre-assessment service and coordinating the patient’s journey from pre-admission to discharge.

What we’ll look for in you

As an NMC Registered General Nurse, you will have recent and relevant pre-assessment experience gained in an acute care or elective surgical setting as well as intermediate life support skills, and hands on clinical skills to include ECG’s and phlebotomy.
