About Us

Pure Foods Systems Limited (trading as Vendtrade) is a leading vending machine supplier and operator based in Croydon. We supply and manage vending solutions for businesses across London and the South East, offering a wide range of hot drinks, cold drinks, and snack machines. We are a growing, entrepreneurial business with a hands-on team.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and organised Credit Controller to join our finance team on a part-time basis. You will be responsible for managing the company’s debtor ledger, chasing overdue invoices, and supporting the wider finance function. This is an important role in maintaining healthy cash flow across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the accounts receivable ledger
Chase outstanding invoices by phone, email, and letter in line with company credit terms
Allocate incoming payments accurately and promptly
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing queries or disputes
Produce regular aged debtor reports and flag risk accounts to management
Liaise with the sales team to resolve customer queries efficiently
Process credit applications and conduct credit checks on new accounts
Escalate accounts to legal proceedings or debt collection agencies where necessary
Support month-end close processes as required
Assist with general finance administration as needed

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
Strong telephone manner with confidence making outbound calls to customers — including chasing overdue accounts
Ability to work independently and manage own workload
Proficiency in Sage accounting software (essential)
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Accurate and detail-oriented with strong numeracy skills
Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and calmly
Previous experience in a B2B environment preferred
