M&A Motor Centre is a busy, well-established independent garage with an excellent local reputation. Due to increasing workload, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our friendly team.
We work on a wide variety of makes and models, carrying out everything from routine servicing to major mechanical repairs and diagnostics. If you're looking for a long-term role in a busy, professional workshop where your work is recognised and valued, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Complete repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts, exhausts and engine work.
- Carry out MOT preparation checks and complete any required repairs.
- Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify faults.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years' workshop experience (or equivalent).
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with diagnostics and modern vehicle systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- NVQ Level 2/3 (preferred but not essential).
