About the Role

Were looking for a Warehouse Operative / Relief Van Driver to join our busy Grant & Stone Abingdon Branch.

This is a hands-on role, combining warehouse duties with customer deliveries, ensuring goods are handled safely and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Duties:

Receive and book in supplier deliveries
Pick, prepare, and load customer orders
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse
Support stock control and inventory management
Assist customers and team members as needed
Operate forklift (training provided if required)

Driving Duties:

Deliver goods to customers using a 3.5t company van
Plan efficient delivery routes
Load and secure products safely
Provide excellent customer service on delivery
Complete delivery paperwork accurately
Support yard/warehouse tasks when not driving

What Were Looking For

Full UK driving licence (essential)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Reliable with a can-do attitude
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit (lifting required)
Product knowledge (advantage)

Hours

Week 1: MonFri 07:3017:15
Week 2: MonFri 07:3017:15 + alt. Sat 08:0012:00
