Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cabinet Maker to join our team making quality kitchens and cabinetry.
The successful candidate will have an eye for quality and detail that sets the benchmark for everything that leaves the workshop. You will be responsible for leading the machining and assembly of bespoke cabinetry, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship and precision.

You will play a natural leadership role within the workshop team, through the quality of your work, your willingness to share knowledge and your commitment to getting it right, every time.
You will work closely with the design team, interpreting CAD drawings and designs briefs with confidence and flagging anything that needs clarification before it becomes a problem on the bench. You understand that in a bespoke business, there is no room for close enough and you bring that standard to everything you make.
Duties
- Lead the machining and assembly of custom cabinets and furniture pieces, ensuring precise measurements and high-quality finishes
- Operate a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and specialised joinery equipment to complete complex tasks
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to deliver accurate craftsmanship
- Manage the organisation of materials and coordinate with other trades on site to meet project deadlines
- Oversee the installation process, ensuring secure fitting and finishing details are met to client specifications
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist in training junior team members in advanced carpentry techniques and best practices
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the fabrication process to ensure consistency and excellence
Requirements
- Proven experience in cabinet making, carpentry, or joinery at a senior level
- Strong skills in fabrication, assembly, and utilisation of hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, masonry, electrical systems, construction painting, heavy lifting, and general construction is advantageous
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints with attention to detail
- Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or related trades are preferred but not essential
- A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to quality workmanship

Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
