Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering specialised physiotherapy services, focusing on musculoskeletal conditions across diverse patient populations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise advanced clinical skills within a supportive and dynamic environment, contributing to improved patient outcomes and rehabilitation success.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with musculoskeletal disorders, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management.
Develop personalised treatment plans based on thorough understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and mobilisation techniques.
Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment programmes accordingly to optimise recovery.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams such as doctors, occupational therapists, and sports specialists to ensure holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and organisational policies.
Provide guidance and education to patients regarding injury prevention, self-management strategies, and lifestyle modifications.
Supervise junior staff or interns as required, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.

Requirements

Proven hospital experience working within a musculoskeletal or related clinical setting.
Demonstrable expertise in paediatrics is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to musculoskeletal health.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to individual needs.
Relevant qualification in physiotherapy recognised by the appropriate professional body.
Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent regulatory authority.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating leadership qualities.
Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest clinical practices.
