The Role
We're looking for an experienced Landscaping Foreman/Forewoman to lead our site teams on private residential projects. You'll be the person on the ground ensuring each build runs smoothly, safely, and to the standard our clients expect, from groundworks through to final planting and finishing. You will be an exceptional communicator, keeping management abreast all onsite issues and developments.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and coordinating a small team on-site day to day
- Reading and working from design/landscape plans, ensuring accurate setting out
- Overseeing hard landscaping (paving, walling, decking, drainage) and soft landscaping (turfing, planting)
- Managing materials, deliveries, and site logistics
- Maintaining high standards of finish and quality control throughout
- Liaising with the design team, project managers, and occasionally clients on-site
- Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld at all times
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience running landscaping crews on high-end residential projects
- Strong hard and soft landscaping knowledge
- Comfortable reading technical drawings and setting out from plans
- Exceptional communication skills- you'll be a key point of contact on-site
- A full UK driving licence (own transport preferred)
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ, CSCS card, first aid) are a plus but not essential if experience speaks for itself
