Overview:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Older Adult Mental Health Department in London.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and psychiatric expertise to the Older Adult Mental Health Department and Home Treatment Service.
Lead assessments and follow-ups for the most complex cases within the department.
Support and enhance community mental health services for older adults.
Actively contribute to the strategic direction and development of the service.
Assist the Service Manager in effective service management.
Conduct audits to improve service effectiveness and target outcomes.
Collaborate with the Clinical Lead and Service Manager on quality improvement initiatives and service evaluations.
Qualifications:
Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
On the GMC Specialist Register, or within 3 months of completion.
Section 12(2) MHA approval or close to completion.
