Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Floor and Wall Tiler to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality tiles on floors and walls, transforming spaces with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will help create beautiful, durable surfaces that meet project specifications and client expectations. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or mortar to ensure proper tile adhesion.
- Measure and cut tiles accurately using hand tools and power tools to fit specific spaces and patterns.
- Install tiles on floors, walls, backsplashes, and other surfaces following schematics and design plans.
- Grout, seal, and finish tiled surfaces to achieve a polished look while ensuring durability.
- Use carpentry skills to modify or prepare framing or backing structures as needed for tile installation.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols during all phases of tiling work.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely completion of projects according to specifications.
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on tiling or related trades.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, and measuring tapes.
- Experience with power tools including drills, saws, and tile cutters.
- Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings for accurate installation.
- Familiarity with construction painting techniques is a plus for finishing touches.
- Ability to interpret project plans and adapt work accordingly while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and physical stamina for demanding tasks.

Pay: £110.00-£278.76 per day
