About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Technician at our National Technical Centre in Southam, Warwickshire.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, Laboratories, your main duties will include:

Ensuring the laboratory environment is maintained in accordance with company standards and that

all Health & Safety practices are adhered to.

Undertake quality control and end performance testing of Asphalt, Readymix, Mortars, Screed,

Aggregates and products in accordance with Company procedures and European standards.

Ensuring test results are recorded and updated in accordance with British & European standards

and UKAS accreditation

Assist in development of products.

Carry out site testing as required for technical support of UK Materials.

Experience & Qualifications

Full UK Driving Licence essential.

Previous experience in Asphalt as Laboratory Technician desirable

Use of Microsoft office applications, in particular excel required.
