Parts Advisor

We are looking for a knowledgeable, organised and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join the team at Spinney. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in parts sales, stock control, or a similar customer service role, particularly within the automotive, leisure vehicle or related industries.As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting both our workshop engineers and retail customers by ensuring the correct parts and accessories are available when needed. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our on-site accessory shop, providing excellent customer service while maintaining accurate stock levels.The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment. Experience in a similar role is preferred, although applicants with relevant transferable skills are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities

Assisting customers with parts enquiries in person and over the phone.
Processing customer orders and raising invoices for parts and accessories.
Managing stock levels, including ordering, receiving and controlling inventory.
Maintaining an organised, accurate and well-presented stockroom.
Ensuring our workshop team has the parts and accessories required to complete scheduled work.
Liaising with the Sales and Service departments to ensure parts are ordered and available at the appropriate time.
Serving customers in our on-site accessory shop.
Booking stock in and out using company systems.
Providing support to the front Service Desk when required.
Carrying out any other reasonable duties as requested.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, plus Saturday mornings on a departmental rota.

Salary

Competitive salary, dependent on experience.

Pay: From £26,437.00 per year
