Rugby | £12.92 per hour | 30 Hours per Week | Permanent

Pinnacle Care is looking for a creative, enthusiastic and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our friendly team, working across our care homes in Rugby, supporting residents living with dementia and complex mental health needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to help enrich the lives of our residents by creating engaging, meaningful and enjoyable activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social connection. Every day is different, and you'll play an important role in helping residents enjoy fulfilling experiences, build relationships, and create lasting memories.

Whether you're leading a craft session, organising live entertainment, celebrating seasonal events or simply spending time chatting with residents over a cup of tea, you'll make a genuine difference to residents' quality of life.

The Role

As Activities Coordinator, you will:

Plan and deliver a varied programme of meaningful activities tailored to residents' individual interests, abilities and needs
Encourage participation while promoting independence, confidence and wellbeing
Organise themed events, celebrations and community activities throughout the year
Coordinate visits from external entertainers and activity providers
Produce a monthly activities calendar for each home
Manage a monthly activities budget
Work across our Rugby care homes, creating welcoming, stimulating and inclusive environments for residents

Hours & Pay

£12.92 per hour
30 hours per week
Flexible working pattern, which can be arranged around school hours where possible
Approximately one weekend day every four weeks, depending on planned events
Mileage between homes paid at 25p per mile

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Caring, enthusiastic and full of ideas
Organised and able to plan engaging activities
A confident communicator with a friendly personality
Passionate about improving the lives of older people and adults with mental health needs
Creative, adaptable and able to work independently

Experience working in dementia care, mental health services or an activities role would be advantageous, but isn't essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
