Your Role
You will lead the end-to-end UK payroll, compensation and benefits processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery through an outsourced model while maintaining strong governance and compliance.

Manage multiple UK payrolls, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance

Own payroll inputs, controls, reconciliations and year-end activities

Manage outsourced payroll providers and ensure SLA delivery

Partner with HR and Finance to ensure smooth process integration

Oversee benefits administration and support salary review cycles

Ensure correct payroll data, taxation and HMRC compliance

Act as Workday/payroll data expert, ensuring data integrity and system efficiency

Drive process improvements, controls and audit readiness

Act as main contact for payroll queries, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution
Your Background
-
Strong experience in a standalone or senior UK payroll role

Deep knowledge of UK payroll legislation (PAYE, NI, statutory payments)

Experience managing outsourced payroll providers

Familiarity with HR/payroll systems (ideally Workday) and strong Excel skills

Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail, integrity and ability to work independently

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
