Overview
We are seeking a skilled UPVC Fitter / Emergency Glazier to join our dynamic team. This role involves installing, repairing, and replacing UPVC windows and doors, as well as providing emergency glazing services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction-related trades, with the ability to work efficiently and safely in various environments. Duties
- Install, repair, and replace UPVC windows, doors, and related fixtures in residential and commercial properties.
- Respond promptly to emergency glazing requests, ensuring swift and effective repairs.
- Measure openings accurately and fabricate or modify components as needed to fit specifications.
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to carry out installation and repair tasks safely and efficiently.
- Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and installation instructions to ensure precise work.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist with other construction-related tasks such as plastering, masonry, or carpentry when required.
Skills
- Proven experience in UPVC fitting or glazing services is essential.
- Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, construction painting, fabrication, masonry, carpentry, and schematics is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and repair work.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to working at heights or around hazardous materials.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to adapt quickly to unforeseen issues during repairs or installations.
- Good organisational skills with an organised approach to completing multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: £14.69-£36.22 per hour
