Marketing Executive
Part-time, permanent | Flexible hybrid role

IPP Ltd is a UK supplier of innovative products for the construction industry. We work with architects, manufacturers and distributors across the UK and Europe.
Through a portfolio of specialist brands, including Magply, we bring high-performance construction solutions to market, supported by UK testing, certification and technical expertise. We are expanding our brands, launching new products and growing into additional markets.
We are looking for a practical, forward thinking Marketing Executive to help strengthen our marketing activity, raise the profile of our brands and support business growth.
The Role
This is a hands-on, varied role for a capable and proactive marketer who enjoys taking ownership of day-to-day activity.
You will support marketing across our specialist brands, helping to build awareness, generate engagement and provide effective sales-support materials. The role covers a broad mix of activity, including social media, advertising, PR, exhibitions, video content, product launches and coordinating external suppliers.
You will work closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager to plan and deliver a consistent programme of marketing activity across the business.
You will have the opportunity to bring forward ideas, work with external creative and communications partners, and see your work directly support the growth of IPP and its brands.
There is scope for the role to develop over time, depending on business needs and the successful candidate’s ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate day-to-day marketing activity across IPP Ltd and its specialist brands.
- Create and maintain a practical marketing calendar covering campaigns, advertising, product launches, events, content and social media.
- Develop, create, schedule and manage regular social-media content, with a particular focus on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
- Support the ongoing development of IPP’s and Magply’s LinkedIn presence, including content planning and basic performance reporting.
- Plan, book and manage print and digital advertising, including basic reporting on activity and results.
- Liaise with our external PR agency on press releases, case studies, project stories and other communications.
- Brief and manage external designers, printers, photographers, videographers and other marketing suppliers.
- Coordinate video and visual-content projects for use across websites, social media, advertising and events.
- Support website content updates and ensure marketing materials and assets are well organised.
- Coordinate the production of brochures, adverts, presentations, case studies and other sales-support materials.
About You
You will be a proactive and well-organised marketer with strong communication skills and the confidence to manage projects independently.
You will ideally have:
- A good grounding in marketing, either in-house or agency-side, with the confidence to manage a range of activities independently.
- Experience managing business social-media channels
- Experience coordinating designers, PR agencies, print suppliers, video providers or event contractors.
- Strong written English, attention to detail and an eye for good presentation.
- The ability to manage several projects at once and prioritise effectively.
- A practical, commercially minded approach and an interest in supporting sales activity.
- Confidence working with a range of internal colleagues and external suppliers.
- Experience in construction, building products, manufacturing is preferred
Working Pattern
This is a permanent, part-time role with a flexible working pattern.
The specific days and hours will be agreed with the successful candidate and can be structured to suit both the needs of the business and the individual. We are open to a range of arrangements, including shorter days, selected days each week or school-hours working.
The role is hybrid, with home working available alongside some time in our Southminster office. Occasional UK travel will be required for exhibitions, events and meetings.
