Pay: £13.40 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Looking for a role where no two days are the same?
We’re looking for an organised, practical and proactive person to join our small, dynamic team in Bellshill.
This is a genuinely varied role combining office-based administration with hands-on property operations. One day you could be carrying out inspections and coordinating maintenance; the next, you might be building furniture, arranging deliveries or helping set up a brand-new property ready for photography and launch.
We manage a growing portfolio of short-term rental properties across Scotland and need someone who enjoys variety, solves problems and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out property inspections and quality checks
- Coordinating maintenance, repairs and contractors
- Helping onboard and launch new properties
- Delivering and building furniture
- Setting up and dressing properties ready for launch
- Managing stock, inventories and supplies
- Coordinating deliveries and property access
- Managing keys and key safes
- Keeping property records, systems and checklists up to date
- Supporting licensing and compliance administration
- Communicating with property owners, contractors and suppliers
- General office and operational administration
- Helping resolve day-to-day property issues
About You
You’ll be someone who is:
- Highly organised and able to manage different priorities
- Practical and happy to get stuck in
- Confident building flat-pack furniture
- Comfortable working independently
- Detail-focused and a good problem-solver
- Confident communicating with clients, contractors and suppliers
- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets and office systems
- Reliable, flexible and a positive team player
Previous experience in property management, serviced accommodation, hospitality, facilities management or a similar role would be helpful, but it’s not essential for the right person.
A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential.
Travel
Regular travel to properties across the Central Belt of Scotland is part of the role. Occasional travel further afield may be required for property setups or inspections and will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
What We Offer
- £13.40 per hour
- 37.5 hours per week
- Full-time, permanent position
- 28 days’ holiday, pro rata
- Statutory Sick Pay and Statutory Maternity Pay
- Workplace pension contributions
- 30p per mile business mileage allowance
- A varied role with no two days the same
- A friendly, supportive team environment
- Opportunities to learn and develop as the business grows
If you’re the kind of person who spots a problem and thinks, “I’ll sort that,” rather than walking past it, we’d love to hear from you.
