JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic team where your expertise will shape critical regulatory projects and financial reporting. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with evolving industry standards. You will play a pivotal part in implementing FRTB and supporting oversight of SEC and regulatory filings. Your contributions will help maintain the integrity of our balance sheet and reporting processes. Make a difference by driving excellence in project management and regulatory compliance.

As a Project Manager in the Corporate & Investment Bank Finance team, you drive and support project-based initiatives, with a particular emphasis on the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) implementation. You manage and coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal controls. You also gain exposure to oversight of external reporting, regulatory filings, internal management reporting, and monitoring of the CIB balance sheet. Together, we ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards while fostering continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities

Lead and coordinate FRTB implementation and other regulatory projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and documentation, ensuring milestones are met and risks are mitigated.
Apply current product, industry, and regulatory knowledge to project work, especially regarding FRTB and related initiatives.
Assess project issues, outcomes, and impacts on financial reporting.
Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to business lines and management, proactively flagging potential issues.
Establish and maintain relationships with project teams, business partners, and regulatory agency constituents.
Participate in the production, review, and filing of quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial reports with regulatory agencies.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to project control, data quality, and reporting processes.
Ensure adherence to control procedures and edit checks for project and reporting deliverables.
Support oversight of internal management reporting and monitoring of the CIB balance sheet.
Champion compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Significant experience in a Finance organization with project management responsibilities.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong project management skills, including organization, time management, and problem solving.
Advanced Excel and computer skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work effectively across diverse functions, locations, and project teams.
Experience with regulatory reporting and financial statements.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and support reporting activities.
Knowledge of control procedures and regulatory standards.
Team player with a proactive approach.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience with FRTB implementation or similar regulatory projects.
Previous experience in Product Control.
CFA or accountancy qualification.
Exposure to SEC and regulatory filings.
Familiarity with continuous improvement initiatives in finance.
Experience working with regulatory agency constituents.
Background in data quality and reporting process enhancements.
