Full job description

Intro:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize CNC programs for HAAS machine using G-Code and M-Code languages
Prepare and set up CNC machines for production runs including loading raw materials and parts
operate CNC machines for tasks such as drilling, grinding and milling
Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings and maintenance activities

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Operator and Programmer, specifically with HAAS machines
Proficiency in G-Code and M-Code programming
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and precision in machining
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
Knowledge of CAD/CAM software is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred
Forklift Licence desirable but but not essential

Hours of Work

Monday-Thursday 6am to 2.10pm

Friday 6am to 1.10pm

30 minute paid lunch break, 10 minute unpaid break

The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in CNC machine operations, have a solid understanding of programming and be able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. You should also be committed to adhering to safety protocols and ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
