We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef De Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards, adhering to recipes and presentation guidelines
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or sauces, ensuring smooth operation during service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff to promote best practices in food preparation and safety
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredients are fresh and available
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and team to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
- Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, maintaining consistency in quality and presentation
- Comply with health and safety regulations at all times, including proper handling of equipment and ingredients
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
- Good understanding of meal preparation processes across various cuisines
- Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving experience in hospitality settings
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on presentation and quality control
