Full job description

Guttridge Limited is a growing, local company. This is a genuine opportunity for the right candidate to have and develop a successful career. We are currently seeking skilled MIG and TIG Welder Fabricators to join our team. This role is for a full-time position over 39 hours with opportunities to work overtime.

Hourly rate: £13.38 – £16.50

Additional enhanced rates: Available for skilled TIG Welders

Key Responsibilities

Ability to weld all thicknesses of steel.
Carrying out fabrication tasks using hand tools and machines including drilling, countersinking, tapping and cutting steel sections.
Reading and working from CAD drawings.
Knowledge of working to ISO9001 standards
Producing high quality products right first time
Experience with overhead cranes/lifting equipment (desirable but not essential)

Skills and Attributes

Strong fabrication and welding ability.
Good communicator at all levels
Reliable with excellent time keeping
Able to work independently using own initiative
Good housekeeping and commitment to safe working practices
Basic tool kit required

Benefits

Up to 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Flexible working options
Overtime rates: Weekdays- time and a half, Saturdays- Double time
Monday to Friday
8-hour shift Monday to Thursday and 7-hour shift on Friday.
