Role: Chair of the Board of Trustees

Location: Norwich
Term: 2 years, renewable once (4 years in total)
Remuneration: Unpaid, with reasonable expenses
Leeway Domestic Violence and Abuse Services, Norfolk’s largest domestic violence charity, are currently looking for a visionary Chair to guide our Board of Trustees and to work closely with our Chief Executive Officer to drive our strategy forward. We provide a wide variety of expert support to adults and children in Norfolk and Suffolk who have experienced or who are experiencing domestic violence and abuse as well as working in partnership with many professionals, including police, health and other agencies.
About the Role
As Chair, you will be the public face of the organisation and ensure our Board functions effectively. You will hold the senior management team to account, champion our values, and ensure we continue to deliver sustainable, impactful results into the future.

- Knowledge of supporting survivors of domestic violence and abuse
- Understanding of voluntary sector and public sector commissioning
